ALIGNED CARBON NANOTUBE ARRAYS

Unidym’s vertically aligned multiwalled carbon nanotube arrays are synthesized in a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition system.  Unidym’s array products available for purchase are grown on rigid copper coupons or copper foil.  These products have higher thermal conductivity than thermal grease and can be used as a thermal interface material. CNT’s in Unidym’s arrays have large diameters and are highly crystalline.  Unidym can also grow vertically aligned CNT arrays on other substrates such as silicon, aluminum, and glass, but will only do so under funded development agreements.  Unidym can control the length and density of the arrays.
